Severe Weather Event ‘Bora’ Brings Heavy Rainfall Across Greece
A significant weather event, referred to as ‘Bora’, has led to exceptionally high levels of rainfall from November 30 to December 2 across various regions in Greece, particularly in Macedonia and Aegean islands. Data from the National Observatory of Athens indicates that the heaviest rainfall was recorded in Halkidiki, Pieria, Imathia, and islands like Rhodes and Lemnos. A map detailing cumulative rainfall has been created based on records from over 511 weather stations.
