Martinique Ends Curfew Following Week of Calm

The Prefect of Martinique has announced the end of the administrative police measures, including the curfew imposed since October 10. With no urban violence reported over the past week, residents were able to celebrate the All Saints’ Day holiday freely. Effective November 5 at 5 AM, curfews and restrictions on the sale and transport of certain goods will also be lifted. The Prefect remains prepared to reinstate these measures if public safety concerns arise in the future.
