Tragic Train Collision in Wales: New Findings Reveal Both Trains Were Moving
Investigators from the Rail Accidents and Investigations Branch (RAIB) have disclosed that both trains involved in the fatal crash near Llanbrynmair, Powys, on October 21 were in motion during the collision. The incident, which resulted in the death of 66-year-old David Tudor Evans, initially suggested a stationary train was hit by a traveling service from Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth. However, recent findings indicate conflicting evidence regarding the speeds of both trains involved, prompting further investigation into the tragic event.
