A 66-year-old man passed away on Saturday night after weeks of hospitalization in the Intensive Care Unit of Rethymno Hospital, following a car accident on October 27th. The 23-year-old responsible for the accident had stolen a vehicle from a passing driver who had stopped to help. He fled the scene but was later apprehended after being involved in two more accidents.
