Japan Airlines Restores Services After Cyberattack Disruption

Japan Airlines (JAL) announced the restoration of its systems and the resumption of ticket sales for same-day flights following a cyberattack that affected operations, particularly in baggage management and sales. The attack, which began early in the morning, did not compromise customer data or infect systems with viruses. In contrast, ANA Holdings reported no incidents affecting its systems. The attack added to a series of recent cyber incidents in Japan targeting major organizations, including JAXA and the Nagoya port.
