Firefighting Efforts Underway as Blazes Decline in Achaia and Aetolia-Acarnania
Firefighters are making significant progress in controlling two wildfires in Greece’s Achaia and Aetolia-Acarnania regions. In Kafalovryso, 50 firefighters, along with 10 fire trucks, are combating a forest fire. Meanwhile, in Rouga, 20 firefighters are tackling a blaze in reed areas, supported by 8 vehicles. Efforts focus on completely extinguishing the flames and preventing any flare-ups. Fire authorities report that both fires are currently in a state of decline.
