The Municipality of Lesbos will hold a special event to commemorate the Polytechnic Uprising for the first time in several years. Scheduled for November 17 at 7:00 PM at the Municipal Theater, the event will feature speeches from uprising participants and cultural performances, including music from local orchestras and choirs. A wreath-laying ceremony will take place earlier in the day at the bust of Michalis Myrogiannis, attended by local authorities and community members. This initiative aims to honor the historical significance of the uprising and engage with the community.
