Molotov Streaming Platform Suffers Data Breach Affecting 10.8 Million Users
Molotov, a popular streaming service, announced that it experienced a data breach in October, compromising the email addresses, names, and birth dates of over 10 million users. The unauthorized access was confirmed to have allowed third parties to obtain personal information. However, the company assured clients that no banking details or passwords were involved. Following the incident, Molotov filed a complaint and notified France’s data protection authority, urging clients to remain cautious of suspicious emails and providing resources to mitigate risks.
