A gas leak at a grill stand in the Schluefweg Ice Sports Center in Kloten resulted in four injuries on Wednesday evening. The incident, which occurred around 9:30 PM during a National League game, caused flames to erupt. A 76-year-old man sustained severe injuries, while two women aged 19 and 61, along with a 77-year-old man, suffered moderate injuries. All injured parties were treated on-site before being transported to local hospitals. The cause of the leak is under investigation by the Zurich Cantonal Police’s arson unit, with damages estimated in the thousands of francs.
