A recent snowfall has transformed the rooftops of homes in Kozani, Ptolemaida, and surrounding mountainous villages into a picturesque winter landscape. The snowfall began on the evening of November 15, 2024, and continued into the morning, with the highest accumulation reaching 10 cm in the mountainous village of Vlasti. Local snowplows efficiently cleared the roads, ensuring safe travel. Meanwhile, Grevena’s highlands also experienced light snowfall, registering similar snow depths at the National Ski Center of Vasilitsa, enhancing the winter ambiance without causing significant issues.
