Georgia Wins Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Tribute to Mothers
The Junior Songfestival saw Georgia’s Andria Putkaradze take first place with his heartfelt song ‘To my mom,’ receiving high praise, particularly from the jury. The Netherlands finished in tenth place with the group Stay Tuned performing ‘Music.’ A total of eighteen countries participated, with Georgia, Portugal, and Ukraine making up the top three. This year’s festival marked Georgia’s fourth win, reinforcing its position as the record holder in the competition that has been held since 2003.
