Adverse weather conditions in the Aegean Sea caused disruptions to the ferry services operated by Minoan Lines between Heraklion and Piraeus. Both the ‘Knossos Palace’ and the ‘Phaistos Palace’ were unable to dock at Milos due to high winds, stranding over 200 passengers. The ‘Knossos Palace’ continued to Heraklion while the ‘Phaistos Palace’ headed back to Piraeus, leaving passengers to remain on board until further arrangements are made by the shipping company.
