The 41st Athens Marathon officially kicked off on November 7, welcoming thousands of runners for the upcoming activities on November 9 and 10. The event commenced with the Marathon EXPO opening and a press conference featuring last year’s winners, Panagiotis Karaiskos and Gloria Privilegio, alongside technical director Dimitris Chalvatzaras. Sofia Sakorafa, president of SEGAS, highlighted the marathon’s significance as a leading sporting and cultural event in Greece.
