In November, the Independent Public Revenue Authority issued Tax Identification Numbers (AFM) automatically to over 710,000 minors under 12 years old in Greece. This initiative aims to simplify the process for parents and guardians, eliminating the need for manual applications. In total, the automated issuance has reached 1.126 million AFMs. The project leverages interoperability services, and parents can access their children’s data through the myAADE digital portal as well as the myAADEapp.
