Boeing Workers End Strike with Major Pay Increase Deal

Boeing workers have officially ended a seven-week strike after approving a new contract that grants them a 38% pay rise over the next four years. The deal, backed by 59% of the striking employees, comes as the company faces significant challenges, including a slowed production cycle. In addition to the salary increase, workers will receive a one-time bonus of $12,000 and revisions to retirement plans. The strike, which began on September 13 and involved approximately 30,000 workers, highlighted ongoing labor tensions, prompting federal negotiations to assist in reaching an agreement.
