Businessman Paddy McKillen Convicted of Assaulting Bailiff in Paris
Paddy McKillen, a 70-year-old property developer, has been convicted of attacking bailiff Anna Cohen-Bacri in his Paris apartment. He received a €10,000 fine for ‘violence against public official’ and was ordered to pay €1,500 in damages. The conviction followed a one-day trial where Cohen-Bacri described being verbally and physically assaulted after entering the property regarding an unpaid loan. McKillen’s defense has announced an immediate appeal and plans to contest the accusations, labeling them as false.
