Gabriela Dabrowski, the Canadian doubles specialist, opened up on Instagram about her breast cancer diagnosis received in April 2024. After discovering a lump in 2023, she underwent a biopsy which confirmed cancer. Over the year, she managed to compete in major tournaments, including Wimbledon and the Olympics, while undergoing surgeries and radiation therapy. Despite the challenges, Dabrowski achieved significant success, winning a bronze in mixed doubles with Félix Auger-Aliassime and clinching the WTA Finals title with Erin Routliffe in Riyadh.
