On November 18, the Greek Film Archive will host a special event to honor the late filmmaker Frida Liappa, marking 30 years since her passing. The event will feature digitally restored copies of her first three films: ‘Μετά σαράντα μέρες’ (1972), ‘Μια ζωή σε θυμάμαι να φεύγεις’ (1977), and ‘Απεταξάμην’ (1980). Notables such as director Kyriakos Angelakos and actress Nena Mendty will attend. These significant restorations, conducted by AN MAR Film Lab and others, revive works that encapsulate the era and Liappa’s unique artistic vision, providing insights into Greece’s cinematic past.
