The Centaur Volos athletic club made a remarkable appearance at the Authentic Marathon of Athens, held on November 9-10, with hundreds of runners competing across various distances. Notably, George Paris, a visually impaired runner, successfully completed his fifth marathon with the help of guide George Vergas. Other impressive performances included Kostas Verogkos finishing in 3:07:13 and Kyriakis Karakantes in 3:08:04 during their marathon debuts. The club’s participation highlighted both competitive spirit and community support, showcasing the dedication of volunteers who aided participants throughout the two-day event.
