Center Parcs has announced plans to develop its first holiday village in Scotland, near Hawick, with an investment of £350 million. The project aims to create up to 1,200 jobs and includes proposed facilities such as 700 lodges and an indoor water park, pending planning approval expected in 2025. Chief Executive Colin McKinlay emphasized the potential for significant economic benefits and local tourism growth in the Scottish Borders, catering to the demand from families who previously traveled to their sites in England.
