Early this morning, Greece’s Coast Guard responded to reports of a suspicious speedboat near Piganousa islet. Upon arrival, they discovered 28 foreign nationals on the islet. The migrants were safely transferred to the port of Xirokambos and subsequently taken to the Closed Reception Center on Leros. An investigation is currently underway by the Leros Port Authority.
