Pierre Palmade, the 56-year-old French comedian, has been sentenced to five years in prison, two of which are mandatory, for causing a drug-influenced car accident in February 2023. His actions resulted in serious injuries to a family, including a pregnant woman, and led to the loss of her fetus. The sentencing took place on November 20, and Palmade is currently incarcerated in Bordeaux-Gradignan prison. He has not appealed the verdict, according to his lawyer Alain Barsikian.
