Completion of Road Restoration on Florina-Prespa Highway Enhances Local Traffic
The road restoration at the 11th kilometer of the Florina-Prespa National Highway has been completed and reopened to traffic, following significant landslide repairs. The project, which cost approximately €1.47 million, was overseen by the Western Macedonia Regional Governor, Georgios Amanatidis. Officials, including the Deputy Regional Governor of Florina, Athanasios Taskas, and Prespa’s Mayor, expressed satisfaction with the project’s successful completion, emphasizing its importance for local residents and visitors. Moreover, plans for further upgrades to the entire highway are underway, indicating ongoing infrastructural improvements in the region.
