Criminal Gang Behind Church Thefts Dismantled in Greece
The Tripoli Security Department in Greece has dismantled a criminal organization responsible for a series of thefts from churches in the regions of Megalopolis and Messinia. One gang member, a 19-year-old local, has been arrested, and charges have been filed against two other associates aged 42 and 46. The group is linked to at least 22 theft cases, primarily involving bells and cash, resulting in illegal gains exceeding €40,000. The investigation continues as authorities seek to uncover any additional crimes committed by the gang.
