Footage reveals the successful capture of two lynx that were illegally released in the Highlands. The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland collaborated with police to humanely trap the animals in Drumguish. They are currently in quarantine at Highland Wildlife Park before being moved to Edinburgh Zoo. The charity criticized the release as irresponsible, highlighting that the lynx would likely not have survived in the wild. The cats have been named ‘The Killiehuntly Two’ and appear to be in good health.
