On November 9, 2024, a caller impersonating a doctor claimed her daughter needed urgent surgery, demanding €50,000. To lend credibility, another accomplice posed as a daughter on the line. Ultimately, the victim was convinced to hand over €18,200. Police continue to investigate the identities of any accomplices and potential involvement in similar crimes.
