In October 2022, Konstantis Alexandropoulos and fellow researchers embarked on the Limnads Project to investigate the effects of climate change and human activities on Alpine lakes in Greece. After multiple expeditions, they have installed scientific instruments across various lakes. Their goal is to understand the vulnerability of these ecosystems as temperatures rise and snowfall declines. The project aims to establish a research center dedicated to Alpine studies to better protect these fragile environments.
