FBI: Las Vegas Tesla Explosion Linked to Veteran’s Struggle with PTSD
The FBI reports that Matthew Livelsberger, the veteran who died in a Tesla explosion near the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas, likely suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Livelsberger, 37, died by gunshot before the car, filled with fireworks, exploded. The incident is being investigated as a tragic case of suicide rather than an act of terrorism. In a note left behind, Livelsberger expressed a desire to raise awareness about national issues, lamenting the loss of fellow servicemen. Seven others sustained minor injuries, but the hotel sustained minimal damage.
