Fine Gael Maintains Lead as Independents Surge in Latest Irish Poll
The latest Irish Times/Ipsos poll shows Fine Gael remains the leading party at 25%, despite a two-point drop from September. Support for Sinn Féin has decreased to 19%, while both Fianna Fáil and Labour hold steady at 19% and 5%, respectively. The Independents’ coalition, boosted by new party Independent Ireland, has gained four points to reach 20%. The Green Party and Social Democrats also saw declines, with the Greens at 3% and Social Democrats at 4%. The poll surveyed 1,200 individuals with a margin of error of 2.8%.
