A fire erupted shortly before 8 PM on Tuesday in a forested agricultural area between Chrysoforas and Strefi in the municipality of Messini. Emergency services from across Messinia, along with a foothill unit from Arcadia and the local volunteer group, are actively working to control the situation. Currently, the fire is in a state of decline and has reportedly scorched approximately 20 acres. Authorities remain vigilant as they continue to monitor the area.
