French speed specialist Cyprien Sarrazin underwent successful surgery after a severe fall during training on the Stelvio slope in Bormio, Italy. The French Ski Federation announced that the nighttime operation on his head went well, and Sarrazin will remain in an induced coma initially. The 30-year-old suffered an intracranial hematoma during the fall, necessitating helicopter transport to a neurological intensive care unit.
