Cyprien Sarrazin, a French skier, underwent successful surgery to relieve an intracranial hematoma following a serious fall during training on the challenging Stelvio slope. The Fédération Française de Ski reported that Sarrazin remains under anesthesia, with more updates expected soon. Sarrazin had been leading in his training runs when he lost control and fell onto protective nets. Concerns are growing about the safety of the Stelvio course, especially after two other skiers also suffered serious injuries during the training session.
