The Society of Continental Studies is set to kick off its 2025 cultural events with a performance by pianist and physician Giannis Dakoumis, titled ‘Conversing with Oedipus’. The event, combining music and lecture, will take place on January 3, 2025, at the Society’s hall. Dakoumis, hailing from Ioannina and based in London, will showcase works by Bach, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, and Schubert, reflecting on human nature and introspection through the lens of the Oedipus myth.
