Greece Boosts Heating Subsidies for Eco-Friendly Energy Choices
Greece is enhancing its heating subsidies to encourage the use of environmentally friendly energy sources. As part of the initiative, financial support for heating oil is being reduced while increasing for electricity, natural gas, and pellets. Eligibility criteria specify that annual family income must not exceed €16,000 for single households or €29,000 for single-parent families, with property values capped at €200,000 for singles and €300,000 for married couples. Colder regions may see up to a 25% increase in subsidies, ranging between €100 and €1,200.
