Greece Introduces Parental Control Platform for Children’s Internet Use
The Greek Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Sophia Zacharakis, announced the development of a platform for parental control over children’s internet and social media use. The initiative aims to combat the risks of excessive online engagement for children under 15. The minister highlighted concerns about digital isolation and depression among children, emphasizing that while a complete ban on social media isn’t realistic, technology can assist in safeguarding children online.
