Greece’s Energy Efficiency Program ‘Exoikonomo 25’ Aims to Support Vulnerable Households
The Greek Ministry of Environment and Energy’s new program, Exoikonomo ’25’, is currently underway, featuring increased subsidies for vulnerable economic categories, potentially reaching 100%. With a budget of €400 million, the program covers seven initiatives aimed at energy upgrades across various public and private sectors. Secretary General Teles Aivalyotis emphasized the straightforward application process and stringent checks to prevent fraud, while highlighting that past beneficiaries cannot reapply for the same type of funding.
