Greek Mutual Fund Inflows Surge, Reaching 15-Year Highs
As of November 6, 2024, inflows into Greek mutual funds have driven assets to exceed €21 billion, the highest since late 2008. This represents a 33.47% increase since the start of the year. The total assets under management in the institutional management sector reached €36.86 billion at the end of Q3 2024, up 7.38% from the previous quarter. About 55.9% of these assets are invested in securities, with notable positive performances seen in U.S. equity funds. The strong demand reflects a growing investor interest, particularly in targeted maturity funds aimed at generating regular income.
