Athanasios Taskas, the Deputy Regional Governor of Florina, held a meeting with bean producers from the Prespa area to address the extensive damage caused by a summer heatwave and recent snowfall to their crops. Taskas informed the producers that damage assessments by the Agricultural Insurance Organization (ELGA) have been completed, and compensation payments will be made soon. He also committed to assisting with claims related to the destruction of the supporting cane structures.
