Kyriakos Velopoulos, President of the Greek Solution party, visited the village of Akrini in Kozani during his tour of Western Macedonia. He met with local residents to discuss pressing issues regarding the community’s relocation and the construction of a large solar park by DEI, which they view as hazardous. Velopoulos promised to advocate for the residents’ concerns in Parliament next Tuesday and expressed solidarity with their move to challenge the relocation in European courts.
