Greek Workers and Unions Mobilize for Health and Education Funding
On November 15, a coalition of labor unions, healthcare workers, retirees, and farmers will hold a motorcade protest in Karditsa, Greece, advocating for increased funding for health and education, as well as higher wages and pensions. Organized by various local unions, participants aim to preserve the public nature of health and education services while calling for Greece’s disengagement from NATO’s military plans. The rally is part of a larger campaign that includes a commemoration gathering for the Polytechnic uprising anniversary and a planned strike on November 20.
