The 6th Health Authority has transferred a general physician from the Health Center in Andritsaina to an island in the Ionian Sea, reducing the center’s monthly on-call services from 16 to 8. With only one remaining general practitioner, the facility faces operational difficulties, leading to concerns about its potential closure. The local Deputy Mayor, Miltos Georgakopoulos, expressed the possibility of meeting with Health Minister Thanos Georgiadis regarding the issue.
