Hiker Rescued After 13 Days Lost in Australia’s Kosciuszko National Park
A 23-year-old hiker was found alive after being missing for 13 days in the Kosciuszko National Park in southeastern Australia. The medical student had separated from his friends to take photos on December 26 and survived on two granola bars, berries, and stream water. Search efforts involved around 300 rescue personnel. Ultimately, he was discovered by other hikers who informed authorities. The hiker is reportedly in good health and has been reunited with his family, who expressed immense gratitude to the rescue teams for their efforts.
