Honoring Saint Arsenius of Cappadocia on His Feast Day

On November 10, the Orthodox Church commemorates Saint Arsenius of Cappadocia, revered for his pious life as a monk and archimandrite. Born Theodore Anitsalis or Artzidis around 1840 in Cappadocia, he became a spiritual leader for over fifty years. After being uprooted by the 1924 population exchange between Greece and Turkey, he settled in Corfu, where he continued his religious duties until his passing on November 10, 1924.
