The renovation of the Kalamata Municipal Swimming Pool is nearing completion, with its grand opening set for Sunday, January 5, at noon. Mayor Thanasis Vasilopoulos and various city officials inspected the final works at the facility ahead of the inauguration. This major refurbishment, the first in 48 years, will offer improved energy efficiency and modern amenities for residents. A blessing of the waters ceremony, featuring local swimmers, will follow the opening.
