Intensive Cleanup Efforts Underway for Greek Railway Network After Storm
Intensive cleanup operations are being conducted by the Hellenic Railways Organization (OSE) to restore the railway network in the Tempi tunnel, with plans to reopen one track for commercial trains by midnight. Following severe weather conditions, the majority of water has been removed, and crews are working to clear mud and debris. The CEO of OSE, Panagiotis Terezakis, has stated his goal is to fully restore operations between Athens and Thessaloniki by tomorrow morning.
