An investigation has been opened by the public prosecutor’s office in Bastia following the destruction of a government building in Haute-Corse caused by an explosive device on December 30. The incident occurred at the Departmental Directorate of Employment, Labor, Solidarity, and Population Protection in Borgo. Prosecutor Jean-Philippe Navarre noted that initial observations revealed no claims of responsibility for the attack.
