On November 11, at 7 PM, the Municipality of Ioannina will host a special welcome event for new students of the University of Ioannina. Mayor Thomas Begas and Rector Anna Batistatou will address attendees, followed by a keynote speech from Emeritus Professor Apostolos Katsikidis titled ‘Ioannina, Dialogues with History and Time.’ The event will feature musical performances by the University’s Camerata, and the Tourism Department will offer complimentary city tours for students.
