An Israeli airstrike in southern Gaza has resulted in the deaths of at least 11 Palestinians, including Mahmoud Salah, the chief of Hamas-run police. The attack targeted a tent camp for displaced families in al-Mawasi, near Khan Younis, and among the deceased were three children and two women. Hamas authorities condemned the assault, labeling it an ‘assassination,’ as the police officials were engaged in humanitarian efforts. The Israeli military is currently investigating the incident.
