The Larissa Municipality’s Cleaning and Recycling Directorate is participating in the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) 2024, launching the initiative ‘Orange Bin? Let’s Recycle Oil!’ from November 16 to April 2025. Students and teachers will collect used cooking oil for recycling, promoting awareness of waste management, particularly food waste, under this year’s EWWR theme ‘Don’t Feed Food Waste.’ The program includes new orange bins located alongside existing purple clothing recycling bins to enhance local recycling efforts.
