Lindsey Vonn Makes Racing Comeback at FIS Event in Copper Mountain

Lindsey Vonn returned to competitive skiing after over five years at a FIS downhill race in Copper Mountain, placing 24th with a time 1.44 seconds behind winner Mirjam Puchner. The 40-year-old, a renowned athlete with 82 World Cup victories, outperformed fellow skier Michelle Gisin, who finished 27th. Vonn aims to further participate in races at Copper Mountain to prepare for a potential return to the World Cup in St. Moritz in December.
